Stories From The Vineyard Seattle Event Recap, 2015

Thanks to 170 guests who joined us at Stories from the Vineyard we raised over $105,000!

Saturday November 7, 2015 our guests congregated at 415 Westlake for an evening of food, music and fundraising! Guests had fun in the Photo Booth, sponsored by Willamette Management Associates, and enjoyed the hosted bar while eating amazing cheese appetizers, wine by Emvy Cellars and the silent auction.

As the Live Auction kicked off a touching tribute to Sarcoma Survivors and Angels was presented by Dr. Chappie Conrad as he introduced Susan Galbraith. Susan treated the audience to a Whitney Houston cover and two original songs throughout the evening. A heated dessert auction generated more than $3,000. Carrie Dulisse shared the moving and emotional account of her sister-in-law Iriah Smith’s experience with Sarcoma and how the Help$ made it possible for Iriah to be with her family the last two years of her life and to die with those who loved her close. Carrie’s presentation moved guests to donate more than $40,000 for the Northwest Sarcoma Foundations programs.

As we wrapped up the evening with another beautiful song from Susan Galbraith guests completed their cupcake desserts provided by Sherri’s Cupcakes, collected their photo’s from the photo booth and their auction items. Photos from this incredible event can be found here.

Please accept our most sincere and heart-felt offering of gratitude for your support of this wonderful evening.
