About Sarcomas

What is Sarcoma?

Sarcoma is a rare kind of cancer. Sarcomas grow in the connective tissue – cells that connect or support other kinds of tissue in your body. These tumors are most common in the bones, muscles, tendons, cartilage, nerves, fat, and blood vessels of your arms and legs. They can occur in other areas of your body as well.

Over 13,000 new cases of Sarcomas will be diagnosed in the U.S. every year.
